We were founded more than 24 years ago to provide simple and impactful benefits funding and administration to the public sector employers and employees serving our communities. In 2015, MidAmerica joined the Alpine Investors family. Alpine is a private equity company that specializes in buying middle-market firms from founders and supporting their respective teams in their next chapter of growth. Alpine invests in people first—a value that strongly aligns with the beliefs MidAmerica was founded on in 1995.

MidAmerica operates out of two ideally-located offices. Our corporate headquarters is on Harbour Island in Tampa, Florida and our administration office is located in Lakeland, Florida. Great lunch spots, coffee shops and retailers are only minutes away from both offices.
